Established in 1999, yet2 is a global open innovation and technology scouting services company with offices in the US, Europe and Asia. From its roots as an open innovation marketplace (the original crowdsourcing platform) yet2 have evolved to become expert open innovation consultants. yet2 works across a range of company sizes and engages with: Global 1000, SMEs, Venture Capitalists, Incubators, Accelerators, Research Institutions and Technology Brokers.

The Brief

Yet2 approached Elephant Digital in 2015 to help them transition through important phase of the company’s growth. The brief, provided by Emma Hughes, VP UK and Europe, was to help position Yet2 in the global marketplace as a specialist provider of technology scouting and open innovation consultancy to their global target audience.

The company needed to better leverage its case studies, technical capabilities, its highly experienced team and its unique value proposition to encourage improved user engagement with its existing and prospective customer audiences.

Discovery Phase

Working the Yet2 leadership team, we took them through our four stage process for creating a new website platform, that would increase engagement and lead generation with their target key target audiences.

The project was managed by Daniela (Dani) Slater, our Head of Client Services, as a single point of contact. Dani’s roles was to manage our relationship with the client, as well as our internal team to ensure the new website was delivered on time and to the agreed specification.

Design Phase

The new website platform was a key engagement tool for Yet2 key audiences and the design was tailored to grab attention and make an impact in the marketplace.

We took the Yet2 project team through process with designing and building a new website platform, presenting an initial homepage/style concept followed by a full suite of new page templates.

The new website was built by our in-house development team to the latest open-source coding standards and technologies, and in a fully mobile responsive way to ensure a seamless user journey across desktop and mobile devices.

The new website feature multi-language translation and direct link to the their core business development tool, the Yet2 technology marketplace.

Using the simple but powerful WordPress content management system, the Yet2 team had full control to upload and edit content post launch.
