Village Software

Established in 1986, Village Software are a software development company based in Liverpool that specialise in the creation of bespoke software, enterprise integration and business intelligence.

New Village brand

The Brief

Village Software were looking to develop a new brand and website to position the organisation as a software development company in the UK.

A key objective of this project was to strengthen the brand proposition by developing a new cutting-edge website with functionality that encouraged improved engagement with the brand and better presents the services available.

The key challenges for this project were as follows:

  • To create an attractive and impactful website that demonstrates the uniqueness of Village Software value proposition to its target audience.

  • To stimulate and attract interest from its key target audience comprising individuals and organisations looking for software development services.

  • To provide a user experience for website visitors that is easy to use and displays content in an intuitive and dynamic fashion.

New brand identity

Our Process

We took the Village Software management team through our four step process for the creation of a new brand and website:

  • Discovery – Understand the market, the services and their customers.
  • Strategy – Understand the market, the services and their customers.
  • Design – Understand the market, the services and their customers.
  • Launch – Understand the market, the services and their customers.

The project was managed by our Head of Digital, Dani Slater as a single point of contact throughout the process. Included in the project was a photoshoot of all staff and offices, as well as a set of testimonial videos.

New Brand

The new brand strategy more closely reflected the needs of the Village Software target audience. We created a new mission statement, a set of inspiring core values, a tone of voice guide and a new proposition/strap line for the business.

In support, we created a fresh and impactful new brand identity, matching the entrepreneurial spirit of the team that lead the Village Software business. We designed all core offline printed collateral such as business cards, letterheads, etc.

The new logo, colour scheme and font set was fresh and vibrant positioning the business as forward-thinking, confident and progressive.

New Website

We designed and built a new, fully mobile-responsive website for Villages Software that embodied the values of the business and positively impacted their strategic growth goals.

The new design focused on presenting their key development services supported by a series of impactful case studies, always prompting user towards the call-to-action buttons.

The website was built using the latest version of HTML and CSS and is powered by the WordPress content management system. Village Software web administrators can manage the new platform independently and with complete flexibility.

Core functionality of the platform was supported by custom development to enable advance features and functionality.
