The brief

The objective of this project was to strengthen the brand proposition by developing a new cutting-edge website with advanced functionality that encourages improved engagement and better presents the products and services available.

The key challenges for this project are as follows:

  • Create an attractive and impactful website that demonstrates the uniqueness of EAM value proposition to its target audience.
  • Stimulate and attract interest from its key target audience comprising organisations looking for asset management consultancy and training services.
  • Provide a user experience for website visitors that is easy to use and displays content in an intuitive and dynamic fashion.

Our process

We have a four-stage process for developing websites with a clear set of deliverables signed off at the end of each phase:

  • Discovery: Defining the digital strategy and key audience requirements for the new platform.
  • Design: Mobile responsive design in line with the company’s brand guidelines.
  • Build: Built on the WordPress platform to the latest coding standard (HTML5 and CSS3).
  • Launch: Thoroughly tested to ensure all functionality is working prior to Go Live.

Events booking system

Events booking system

A key outcome of this project was an integrated events booking system, similar to the functionality provided by the 3rd party platform, Eventbrite.

Using the back-end CMS, administrators can add new events, edit them and link the payment received to a specific currency and bank account. On the front-end, users can create an account, register for an event and make payment via a secure payment gateway.

This payment gateway allows eAsset to receive payments in multiple currencies and to multiple bank accounts to around the world, as required.

This functionality was bespoke to eAsset and was a significant achievement for our internal development team.

Asset assessment tools

Client portal and assessment tools

The other key outcome for the project was the development of a client portal area which hosted two asset assessment tools, designed and built specifically for the eAsset platform.

Each tools has a form-based assessment which registered users can complete, followed by a presentation of the findings in a report format, which the users can read and export.

eAsset administrators can provide their clients with access to the portal where they can login and use the tools, as required.

The payment gateway functionality is used to take payment from clients looking to use the assessment tools.
