The digital heart of your business
Building a new website starts with defining the user journey for your customers and understanding how your customers will interact with your website.
We combine cutting-edge web design with the latest website development technologies to ensure a smooth and seamless user experience for all customers visiting your site.
We are Liverpool based web design agency with a robust project management process, ensuring your website will always be delivered on time and to specification.
Here are some quick examples of recent web design and website development projects completed by the Elephant Digital website development team. For our full website portfolio please view our work section.
Your website is the front door to your business, and is often the first impression your brand makes on prospects. It’s the place where you control the design, narrative and style. And in a split second, your website design conveys something about your brand and company.
So is that message positive, negative or neutral? Design and aesthetics aren’t the be-all, end-all, but they are hugely important to reflecting well of your company and keeping prospects on your site. Is your website clean, organised and easy to navigate? If it is confusing or hard to find information, you can say good-bye to prospects.
Your website acts as the hub for your online marketing efforts, and most of your content will reside there in some form. And it’s fundamentally important to cross-promote your content as much as possible in order to maximise its reach and influence.
We are a Liverpool based website design and development agency with a robust four-stage process for delivering our website development projects, with a clear set of deliverables at each stage. The best outcome for a website development project is to complete all four elements of the process, but each phase can be delivered in isolation, as required. For more information on each phase please follow the links below.

Your website design and development project will be managed by our experienced Head of Digital, Dani Slater who will act as a dedicated single point of contact throughout the project.
During the discovery phase Dani will create a detailed project plan for the development of the new website platform, with clear milestones and actions for all parties to review and agree prior to commencement. The project will be visualised in a gantt style project plan and will be updated as the project progresses.
We follow a ‘Waterfall’ project management methodology to deliver website design and build projects, and use a combination of tools including EDHub, TeamWork and Google Docs. Client access to these tools will be provided at the outset of the project.
The purchase of a website is much like buying a car or buying a home. There are many different options available to you, and the standard of website you end up with will be determined by your requirements for the platform and by your budget. Choosing someone for your web design or development project follows a similar process of buying any high value item, and in my experience, depends on three key factors:
We have written a short article which we hope helps you with this question – How much does a website cost?
Take a look at our case studies in more depth. We are proud of the quality of work we create and the outcome of our projects.
